Munch Saladsmith @ One Raffles Place

Munch Saladsmith Rotisserie – Raffles Place

When I used to work in Raffles Place, I loved having salad for lunch with so much variety and tonnes of choices. Long gone are the days when salads are boring.

MUNCH Saladsmith is one of the more popular & longest-standing salad places in the central business vicinity – you would always see queues at lunchtime if you are heading there. We were really excited when One Raffles Place invited us for their Green Plates campaign tasting back in July so here’s sharing on the food we had.

Munch Saladsmith Rotisserie

MUNCH prides on providing healthy wholesome foods, cutting the vegetables only by hand and roasting the proteins for a balanced substantial meal. Anyone would have a hard time choosing which mouthwatering protein and sides to put on your plate with the array of selections at MUNCH.

My hubby chose Bacon & Mash and Mushroom Marinara with the roasted chicken thigh. And for me I love my fish so I went with the dory, egg salad and teriyaki chicken for sides.

Munch Saladsmith Dinner
Our choices for dinner!

The chicken thigh was roasted with honey and herbs, still so juicy that I wanted to grab it and just bite away. The bacon & mash was rich and creamy with mayonnaise and bits of savoury bacon to taste. The mushroom marinara was below average for us with the pasta a little under cooked.

I wished I ordered the salmon instead of the dory as the dory was a little too mushy for my liking. The delectable sides made up for it though. The well seasoned teriyaki chicken salad with a  generous portion of the egg salad was a great combination in flavours.

Iced Tea & Rosti
Iced Tea & Rosti

I am not a fan of Rosti but my hubby loved this. He finished the crispy rosti all by himself. It definitely helped that it was served piping hot with a “ball” of butter on it. We both had the iced tea with our dinner though I found out later that MUNCH does offer hot beverages too.

We were satisfied (and full!) with the food overall – a hearty meal with intake of plant and animal proteins and loads of vitamins! If you are around One Raffles Place looking for a balanced meal to have, do try out MUNCH Saladsmith and Rotisserie. They have a few outlets that you can pop by to which I will link below.

Thank you ORP for the invite!
